Our church is a Grade 1 listed building known locally as the "church in the woods”. It is set in extensive woodland to the west of Fawkham Road, approximately 500 yards from its junction with London Road in the hilltop village of West Kingsdown in Kent.
The Church does not have a Postcode, but the cottages opposite the end of the lane that leads to the Church have the Postcode TN15 6AY. (For more information, see our Contacts page).
Nowadays the church is the centre of a vibrant Christian community within the village of West Kingsdown. Further information about our Parish, its people, the services at St Edmund’s, activities and our church is available on this website.

St Edmund's King and Martyr takes safeguarding very seriously and the PCC have adopted the Rochester Diocese Safeguarding Handbook, promoting a safer Church.
Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of us all whether they are in the communities in which we live or part of our Christian family.
If you have a concern regarding a child, young person or adult who may be at risk of harm please speak to our Parish Safeguarding Officer, Hilary Wilder (01474 852066) or our Rector, Rev Sarah Corry (01474 852265).
Find the policies at the Diocesan Website (opens in a new window) or they are available in Church if you wish to read them.
